This printed instruction booklet guides you step by step through making Pootle, a baby Emperor Penguin with charming waddling feet, a shiny black beak and the sweetest embroidered Christmas-jumper-inspired pattern. A sprinkle of beads and sequins gives him a frosty little bottom, while his colourful earmuffs keep him cosy - or perhaps he’s listening to his favourite audiobook. Once stitched, he stands at around 12cm tall and is suitable for confident beginners and beyond, with construction easily completed in an afternoon.

Pootle makes a delightful Christmas or winter-birthday gift (though not suitable for small children due to the beads and sequins). He also looks magical perched on a festive tablescape or nestled among the branches of your tree.
