Authentic British WWII P37 Large Backpack — 1937 Pattern Web Equipment
Discovered in the dungeon of an Irish castle, these brand new backpacks are the same as those carried on D-Day by Montgomery's British Expeditionary Force assault troops. A genuine piece of WWII militaria, authenticated and untouched since manufacture.
- Extremely resilient cotton hopsack fabric — built to last through combat conditions
- Dimensions: 17" H × 12½" W × 5" D — ideal daypack for rations and field gear
- Manufactured 1940–1943 and issued as standard British Army kit
- Shoulder strap attachment points — sturdy reinforced web loops at top and bottom; shoulder straps sold separately
- Solid brass fixtures — may include brass or black metal hardware
- Buckle-down top flap for secure closure
- Broad Arrow proof mark — used by the British Crown since the 14th century to identify Crown property; confirms authenticity
